Description
PrimeScript II Reverse Transcriptase is a recombinant MMLV reverse transcriptase that includes an accessory protein which inhibits mis-priming and mis-annealing, promoting specificity. It allows rapid cDNA synthesis at an RNA-friendly temperature of 42°C and gives a higher yield of long cDNA products than the original PrimeScript RTase and competitors' enzymes. It also copes well with highly structured RNA transcripts and delivers robust yield even when samples are pre-incubated on ice, allowing flexible workflows. Suitable for full-length cDNA library construction, first-strand cDNA synthesis, cDNA probe preparation and RT-PCR.
