Description
PrimeSTAR HS DNA Polymerase is a high-fidelity DNA polymerase developed by Takara Bio, giving high fidelity, high sensitivity and high specificity, with very strong 3'?5' exonuclease proofreading activity and better amplification efficiency than standard Taq. It amplifies large products of up to 8.5 kb from human genomic DNA and up to 22 kb from lambda DNA, with extremely high priming efficiency and fast reactions, and uses an antibody-based hot start. The enzyme is supplied with 5X PrimeSTAR Buffer (Mg2+ plus) and dNTP Mixture. Most products are blunt-ended.
