Description
PrimeSTAR Max DNA Polymerase Ver.2 is a fast, high-fidelity PCR enzyme that builds on the original PrimeSTAR Max DNA Polymerase (R045A/B). It keeps the original's fidelity and is a fully compatible, improved alternative. It improves amplification efficiency, handling larger amounts of template (up to 500 ng of human genomic DNA per reaction) and amplifying cDNA better. It is supplied as a 2X premix. A hot-start formulation suppresses polymerase and 3'->5' exonuclease activity at room temperature. Most products are blunt-ended. Do not use inosine-containing primers.
