PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
4-(2-Aminoethyl)Benzenesulfonyl Fluoride Hydrochloride
Application Notes
The lower molecular weight and toxicity of AEBSF relative to PMSF and related organophosphate inhibitors, make this inhibitor well suited for blocking trypsin-like activities in tissue culture media as well as in large scale purification of recombinant proteins , susceptible to proteolysis

Biochemical Physiological Actions
: Irreversible serine protease inhibitor. Inhibition constants are similar to those of PMSF and DFP. AEBSF has been shown to inhibit trypsin, chymotrypsin, plasmin kallikrein and thrombin. As an alternative to PMSF and DFP, AEBSF offers lower toxicity, improved solubility in water and improved stability in aqueous solutions.
