Base Catalog Number: 152843
Alternate Names: L-Valinamide; [(S)-1-Carboxy-2-phenylethyl]- carbamoyl-Arg-Val-Arg-al; [(S)-1-Carboxy-2-phenylethyl]carbamoyl-L-arginyl-L-valyl-argininal; [(S)-1-Carboxy-phenethyl]-carbamoyl-Arg-Val-Arg-aldehyde
Biochemical Physiological Actions : Reversible inhibitor of serine/cysteine proteases and some trypsin-like serine proteases. Its action resembles leupeptin; however, its plasmin inhibition is less and its cathepsin A inhibition is more than that observed with leupeptin. Chronic administration can reduce the frequency of chemically induced transformation in BALB/c-/3T3 cells.
