Cis-4,7,10,13,16,19-Docosahexaenoic Acid reduces amyloid ß production whose accumulation has been found to be associated with the risk of Alzheimers . Maternal Docosahexaenoic Acid supplementation has been found to decrease lung inflammation in hyperoxia-exposed newborn mice. It also has potent antiinflammatory properties.
