Indocyanine Green Application Notes Indocyanine Green is a negatively charged polymethine dye that forms noncovalent fluorescent complexes with proteins. This "pseudofluorogenic" property has been utilized for protein determination by capillary electrophoresis with diode laser-induced fluorescence detection.
