DNA polymerases
We offer a variety of polymerases for DNA synthesis.
DNA Polymerase I (Pol I) possesses 3’→5′ exonuclease (proofreading) activity as well as 5’→3′ exonuclease activity, making it useful for DNA end blunting and DNA labeling by nick translation. DNA Polymerase I, Klenow Fragment is a proteolytic product of E. coli DNA Polymerase I and can be used in random primer labeling, DNA sequencing experiments, and second-strand cDNA synthesis. In addition, the Poly(A) Polymerase catalyzes the incorporation of adenine residues into the 3′ termini of RNA and can be used for adding poly(A) tails to RNA, while T4 DNA Polymerase catalyzes the 5’→3′ incorporation of nucleotides into double-stranded DNA making it useful for the generation of blunt double-stranded DNA.
