Description
Terra qPCR Direct TB Green Premix is a 2X master mix that lets you run real-time PCR (qPCR) directly on crude extracts and unpurified samples, such as mouse tail and ear biopsies or leaf cuttings. It contains Terra PCR Direct Polymerase, a robust non-Taq polymerase developed for amplification from whole cells, crude lysates, tissue extracts or purified DNA, together with TB Green dye and a monoclonal antibody that suppresses polymerase activity for an automatic hot start. It amplifies GC-rich targets easily and comes with two ROX formulations (ROX Reference Dye LSR and LMP) for signal normalization on instruments that use ROX. It is not intended for direct qPCR on blood samples.
